 आत्म कथा -भाग 17

 फिल्म अनुरोध में किशोर दा का वह मशहूर गाना- आते जाते खूबसूरत आवारा सड़कों पे... कभी कभी इत्तेफाक से... कितने अनजान लोग मिल जाते... उनमें से कुछ लोग भूल जाते हैं ...कुछ याद रह जाते हैं ...।उसी तरह से मेरे आंगन में कई बाघ आए और गये। कुछ को तो मैं भूल गया, लेकिन कुछ  की याद बनी रही।मैं उस बाघिन को आज तक नहीं भूल पाया हूं जिसने न केवल मेरे सरजमीं को अपने गले लगाया बल्कि अपने जीवन के अधिकांश हिस्से को उसने मेरे ही आंगन में गुजारा । जंगल की एक छोर से दूसरे छोर तक उसका आना जाना होता था। इस कारण उस पर नजर वन विभाग के पदाधिकारियों की पड़ जाती थी। उस पर विशेष निगरानी शुरू की गई। इतना ही नहीं कई बार सैलानियों को दिख जाती थी ।कई बार तो गांव वाले भी उसको देखे थे। इसलिए उस समय जो टाइगर ट्रैकर थे उन्हें स्पष्ट निर्देश दिया गया था कि उस पर विशेष नजर रखा जाए। वन विभाग के पदाधिकारियों के द्वारा उस बाघिन का नाम  दिया गया था-रानी। सचमुच शान शौकत की मल्लिका वो रानी ही थी, जो मेरे पार्क की शान बढ़ा रही थी। और एक दिन दूसरे जगह से घूमता हुआ एक बाघ पहुंचा। वह मेरी रानी से मिला, कुछ दिन साथ रहा और फिर अन्यत्र चला गया। इस बीच रानी गर्भधारण कर ली। इसकी जानकारी भी पदाधिकारियों को हो गई थी। क्योंकि विशेष नजर रखे जाने के कारण हरेक गतिविधि की जानकारी हो जाती थी। और 1984 का वह सुखद दिन आ ही गया जब रानी ने चार शावकों (बाघ के बच्चे) को जन्म दिया। यह खबर आग की तरह फैल गई। हर कोई उन शावकों के दीदार को बेताब हो गया। लेकिन वह बाघिन अपने शावकों के साथ न जाने कहां गुम हो गई थी। वन विभाग के पदाधिकारियों को चिंता सताने लगी कि उसने कहीं जगह तो नहीं बदल दिया। कहीं शिकारियों के हत्थे तो नहीं चढ़ गई।लेकिन उसका ट्रेसिंग मिल रहा था। जंगल में हुए शिकार इस बात को प्रमाणित कर रहे थे कि बाघिन कहीं ना कहीं मेरे आंगन में ही है। और करीब 3 महीने के बाद उसे उनके शावकों के साथ देखा गया। विभाग के पदाधिकारियों को खुशी का ठिकाना ना रहा। सैलानियों में भी उस दृश्य को देखने की होड़ लग गई। वन विभाग के पदाधिकारियों ने रानी के द्वारा जन्में चार शावकों का नाम दिया गया -बॉबी, बंटी ,बबली और शेरा । इनमें दो नर थे जबकि दो मादा।

In the film request, that famous song of Kishore Da - coming and going on beautiful stray streets… sometimes by coincidence… how many unknown people get… some of them forget… some are missing.  ... in the same way that many tigers came and went in my courtyard.  Some I have forgotten, but some have remained remembered. I have not yet forgotten the tigress who not only hugged my land but she spent most of her life in my courtyard.  He had to come from one end of the forest to the other.  Due to this, he used to be looked after by the officials of the forest department.  Special monitoring was started on that.  Not only this, many times tourists were seen. Many times the villagers also saw him.  Therefore, the Tiger Tracker at that time was given clear instructions to keep a special watch on it.  The tigress was named by the Forest Department officials - Rani.  Mallika of Shaan Shaukat was really the queen who was enhancing the pride of my park.  And one day a tiger wandering from another place arrived.  He met my queen, stayed for a few days and then went elsewhere.  Meanwhile, the queen conceived.  Officials also became aware of this.  Because due to special monitoring, every activity was known.  And that happy day of 1984 has come when the queen gave birth to four cubs (tiger babies).  This news spread like fire.  Everyone became desperate for those cubs.  But the tigress went missing with her cubs.  The officials of the forest department started worrying that he had not changed the place.  Somewhere the hunters' hands did not climb, but its tracing was getting.  The hunting in the forest was proving that the tigress is somewhere in my courtyard.  And after about 3 months she was seen with her cubs.  Department officials were not happy.  The tourists also vied to see that scene.  Forest Department officials named the four cubs born by Rani - Bobi, Bunty, Babli and Shera.  There were two males while two females.
