आत्म कथा -भाग 28

मेहमान की तरह आते हैं बाघ और चले जाते हैं

मेरे आंगन में आने वाले सैलानी आते ही पूछते हैं भैया बाघ दिखेगा क्या? तेंदुआ दिखेगा क्या ? मुझे बाघ का फोटो खींचना है । मुझे मां के साथ सेल्फी लेना है।ताकि अपने परिवार वालों को दिखा सकूं कि बेतला गया था तो पार्क में बाघ दिखा। अब वैसे लोगों को कैसे समझाऊं कि जब यहां का माहौल ही बाघ रहने के लायक नहीं है तो भला मैं कैसे अपने आंगन में बाघ को रख सकूं। आप तो जानते ही हैं कि जो जितना बड़ा हैसियत वाला मेहमान होता है उसे अपने घर में रखने के लिए उसी हैसियत तरह की व्यवस्था करनी होती है। ठीक उसी तरह बाघ जैसे  जानवर को रखने के लिए भी हैसियत की जरूरत होती है। अब तक जो कुछ भी मैंने बताया इससे आप अंदाजा लगा चुके होंगे कि मेरी हैसियत कितनी है?भला मेरे जंगल की हैसियत ही कहां है जो मैं बाघ को रख सकूं। जब बाघ आते हैं तो और मेरी हैसियत का खिल्ली उड़ाते हुए वापस लौट जाते हैं। कहते हैं बड़ा नाम सुना था तुम्हारा लेकिन तुम्हारी तो स्थिति बहुत खराब है। मैं यहां तो एक पल भी नहीं रुक सकता हूं।बात ऐसी भी नहीं ही है कि  बाघ नहीं आते हैं ।बाघ आते हैं दो-चार दिन रुकते हैं ।मेरे हर गली का मुआयना करते हैं। और फिर गुड बाय कहते हुए निकल जाते हैं। मैं मुंह देखते रह जाता हूं ।कोशिश करता हूं कि मैं उन्हें रोक लूं ।लेकिन बाघ मेरे जंगल में रुकने का नाम नहीं लेते हैं। समय के साथ साथ सिलेट, ट्रेसिंग पेपर पर पग मार्क बनाने का दौर जब खत्म हुआ, तब आया कैमरा ट्रैप ।जगह जगह पर कैमरा ट्रैप लगाए गए। शायद आप जानते होंगे कैमरा ट्रैप एक ऐसी युक्ति होती है जिसके द्वारा ऑटोमेटिकली जानवरों का फोटो खींचा जा सकता है ।जहां जलाशय थे वहां लगाया गया। 2015 में बहुत बार कैमरा ट्रैप में बाघ की तस्वीर कैद की गई ।एक बाघ ने तो अपने 76 पोज दिए ।अलग-अलग पोज में बिल्कुल किसी किसी मॉडल की तरह ।जब कैमरा ट्रैप में बाघ की तस्वीर आने लगी तब वन कर्मियों चेहरे पर मुस्कान दौड़ गई। पदाधिकारियों को भी एहसास होने लगा कि जंगल में बाघ है।  ऐसे लगा जैसे डूबते को सहारा मिल गया हो। क्योंकि अब दावे के साथ यह कहा जा सकता था की जंगल में बाघ हैं। मीडिया में खबर आने  के बाद बाघ देखने के लिए सैलानी आने लगे । लेकिन बाघ कुछ दिन रुकने के बाद यहां से चला गया ।शायद वह अपने प्रिय शिकार सांभर को ढूंढने आया होगा- सांभर नहीं मिला। शांत वातावरण में बाघिन अपने बच्चे को जन्म देने के लिए आयी होगी- शांत वातावरण नहीं मिला। आपको पता होगा बाघिन अपने बच्चे को काफी सुरक्षित स्थल पर ही जन्म देती है। यहां तक कि वह बाघ से भी छिपाकर बच्चों (शावकों) को रखती है।  क्योंकि बाघ उन शावकों को मार डालता है ।अब आप समझ सकते हैं इतनी सुरक्षा चाहिए बाघ को। बिल्कुल वीआईपी की तरह -जेड प्लस की सुरक्षा।

जो मेरी स्थिति हो गई थी वैसे मैं भला मैं क्या सुरक्षा देता।मैं अपने मेहमान के रूप में आए मेहमान को न तो उसके मन पसंद का खाना खिलाने में सक्षम था और न उसकी सुरक्षा देने में।

Tigers come as guests and go away

 The tourists coming to my courtyard ask as soon as they see the brother tiger?  What will the leopard look like?  I want to take a photo of a tiger.  I have to take a selfie with my mother, so that I can show my family that a betla was shown in the park.  Now how can I explain to people that when the tiger here is not fit to live, then how can I keep the tiger in my courtyard.  You already know that a person who has a high status has to make arrangements in his own house to keep it.  In the same way, status is also needed to keep an animal like tiger.  From what I have told so far, you must have guessed how much my status is? Where is the status of my forest that I can keep a tiger.  When the tigers come and return, ridiculing my status.  It is said that your name was heard but your situation is very bad.  I cannot stop here even for a moment. It is not even that tigers do not come. Baghs come and stay for two to four days. I inspect every street.  And then leave by saying good bye.  I keep looking at the mouth. I try to stop them. But tigers do not take the name of stopping in my forest.  Over time, when the round of making the pug mark on the silting, tracing paper came to an end, there was a camera trap. Camera traps were put in place.  Perhaps you know that a camera trap is a device by which animals can be photographed automatically. Where the reservoir was installed.  Many times in 2015, a picture of a tiger was captured in a camera trap. A tiger posed 76 of its own. Just like any model in a different pose. When the photo of a tiger in the camera trap started appearing, the forest workers smile  She ran.  Officials also began to realize that there is a tiger in the forest.  It felt as if the drowning had found support.  Because now it could be said with the claim that there are tigers in the forest.  After the news in the media, tourists started coming to see the tiger.  But the tiger left from here after staying for a few days. Maybe he must have come to find his beloved hunting sambar - Sambhar could not be found.  In a calm environment, the tigress must have come to give birth to her child - the quiet environment was not found.  You will know the tigress gives birth to her baby at a very safe place.  Even she hides children (cubs) from a tiger.  Because the tiger kills those cubs. Now you can understand that the tiger needs so much protection.  Just like VIP -Z Plus protection.

 What protection would I have given to my situation? I was neither able to feed the food of my choice to the guest who came as my guest, nor to protect him.

जंगल के जानवरों को मरने पर बरती जाती थी गोपनीयता

जैसा कि आपको पता है जीवन में आना और जाना लगा रहता है ।मेरे जंगलों में भी जानवरों का आना और जाना लगा रहा है ।कोई जानवर कहीं से आता है, कुछ दिन रुकता है और फिर चला जाता है। हालांकि कई जानवर तो स्थायी रूप से मेरे जंगल में रहने लगे हैं। कई जानवरों के बच्चों का जन्म होता है और कई जानवर बूढ़े होकर मर जाते हैं ।कई जानवर बीमारी से भी मरते हैं। कई जानवर आपदा से मरते हैं। कई जानवर जहरीले जंतु के काटने से भी मर जाते हैं। अब सोचने वाली बात यह है कि जिनकी जिम्मेवारी हमारे जंगल में जानवरों की मॉनिटरिंग करने की है ,क्या सभी जानवरों के मरने की खबर उन तक पहुंच पाती है? शायद नहीं !कई ऐसे जानवर होते हैं जो झाड़ियों के बीच दुबक कर मर जाते हैं। घने जंगलों के बीच होने के कारण वहां तक मानव पहुंच नहीं पाता है। कई बार तो ऐसा हुआ है कि जानवर मर गया और विभाग को पता भी नहीं चला। कई जानवरों के मरने की खबर तो तब लगी जब उनके  से दुर्गंध आने लगा। कई वन्य प्राणियों की मौत की खबर दो- चार दिन नहीं हफ्तों, 15 दिन बीत जाने के बाद विभाग के कर्मियों को मिलती थी। जंगल में एक बाघिन की मौत उसी के मांद में हो गई थी। उसका शरीर गल चुका था तब जाकर विभाग को सूचना मिली थी। यह भी एक रोचक कहानी है। जिसे बाद में बताऊंगा। मेरे जंगल में कई बाइसन (गौर) चीतल, जंगली सूअर ,तेंदुआ, लंगूर खरगोश ,मोर और हाथी मरे। दैनिक वेतन भोगी या वन्य कर्मियों ने  जंगल में घूमते समय यदि रास्ते में देख लिया तो विभाग को सूचना दे दी ।अन्यथा मरे हुए जानवर वहीं सड़ गल कर खत्म हो जाते थे। एक बात मैं आपको बताना चाहूंगा। यह जो दैनिक वेतन भोगी  है इनके द्वारा भी बहुत लापरवाही बरती गई है। इसका मुख्य कारण यह रहा है कि उन्हें समय पर वेतन नहीं मिलता है। ईमानदारी से काम नहीं करते हैं। विभाग के कर्मी तो यह सोचते हैं कि स्थानीय लोग हैं ।पहले करते थे लेकिन बाद में उनकी स्थिति बिगड़ती गई। अगर ऐसा नहीं होता तो जंगल में मरने वाले जानवरों की सूचना विभाग को देर से क्यों मिलती? जब कोई जंगली जानवर मर जाता था और इसकी सूचना विभाग को मिल जाती थी तो इस खबर में पूरी गोपनीयता रखी जाती थी। किसी अन्य लोगों को कानों कान खबर न लगे इस पर पूरा ध्यान दिया जाता था। दैनिक वेतन भोगी या वनकर्मियों को  अधिकारियों के द्वारा हिदायत दी जाती थी कि जंगल में कौन मरा है इसकी सूचना नहीं देना है ।मीडिया वालों को तो भनक भी नहीं लगने दी जाती थी। जंगल में जब दनादन गाड़ियों का आना जाना होता था ,तो कुछ लोग समझ जाते थे की पार्क एरिया में कुछ न कुछ हुआ है।

Jungle animals were given privacy when they died

 As you know, life keeps on coming and going. Animals are coming and going in my forests too. An animal comes from somewhere, stops for a few days and then goes away.  Although many animals have started living in my forest permanently.  Children of many animals are born and many animals die of old age. Many animals also die of disease.  Many animals die from disaster.  Many animals also die from poisonous animal bites.  Now the thing to think is that whose responsibility is to monitor animals in our forest, does the news of the death of all animals reach them?  Probably not! There are many animals that die by lying between bushes.  Being in the middle of dense forests, humans do not reach there.  Many times it happened that the animal died and the department did not even know.  The news of the death of many animals came when bad odor started coming from them.  The death of many wild animals was reported to the department personnel after two or four days, not 15 days.  In the forest, a tigress died in his den.  His body was melted when the department was informed.  This is also an interesting story.  Which I will tell you later.  Many bison (gaur) chital, wild boar, leopard, langur rabbit, peacock and elephant died in my forest.  If the daily wage earners or forest workers saw the path while walking in the forest, they informed the department. Otherwise the dead animals would end up rotting there.  I would like to tell you one thing.  This daily salary has been paid by them too carelessly.  The main reason for this is that they do not get their salaries on time.  Do not work honestly.  Department employees think that the locals are there. They used to do it earlier but later their situation deteriorated.  If this was not the case, why would the Department get late information about animals dying in the forest?  When a wild animal died and its information was received by the department, complete confidentiality was kept in this news.  Full attention was paid to any other people who did not get ear to ear news.  Daily wage earners or forest workers were instructed by the authorities not to give information about who died in the forest. Those in the media were not even allowed to get a clue.  When Danadan trains were to come in the forest, some people understood that something had happened in the park area.
